Great spot on the main street of historical Waratah Tasmania, a stones throw from the Bischoff Hotel and across the road from the waterfall. Located on the beautiful West Coast of Tasmania Waratah is located just 5 minutes off the main Murchison Highway, approximately half way between the rugged West Coast and the beautiful North-West Coast and adjacent to Savage River National Park. It is a 40 minute drive to Burnie or Cradle Mountain and was the first mining settlement on the West Coast. The town is noted for its historical past and the museum gives credit to its vibrant past and is the only town with a waterfall in the town center.
